The Organic Acid Test
This test helps to assess the functioning of your kidney, bladder and liver, which will give us information on these health indicators:
- Nutritional status
- Vitamin deficiencies
- Metabolic processing
- Microbiome
- Stress and mood
The testing is done through urine, which contains a metabolic breakdown from food, drinks, drugs, environmental contaminants, endogenous waste metabolites and bacterial by-products.
Test Instructions
Important: Do not consume any fruits, jams or jellies or any sugary substances at all for 48 hours before taking this test.

Empty your bladder the night before, and allow at least 6 hours after this before you take the test.
02.
BEFORE filling your cup with urine, write your name, date of birth and date of the sample on the cup provided. Please Use a permanent marker so that nothing smears.
03.
Complete test request form, and place it inside the document holder of the biohazard bag.
04.
Fill the sample cup with urine, between the 15ml and 50ml lines.
05.
When replacing the cap to the cup, turn the lid until you hear 2 clicks. Wipe off any excess urine.
06.
Place the specimen in the pocket with the absorbent pad. Place the bag in the freezer for 2 hours before mailing. If you are not able to ship the specimen the day of collection, keep it in the freezer until you are able to ship.

Ship the specimen by placing the biohazard bag inside the Black Belt Health Box, and put that inside the FedEx shipping bag.

Call FedEx at 1-800-463-3339 or visit online to schedule your free pickup. When the automated greeting begins, say “Schedule a pickup.” When asked if your label has the word “Stamp” on it, say “Yes.” Your tracking number can be found on the return label.
